Just Shapes And Loops

This game was made by me for the GMTK game jam 2025

Description:

Dodge the obstacles to the beat of the music with 6 loopers. Choose between 3 different abilities for your run. Every time you use a looper its actions are visible for the following loopers. Find the best strategy to beat the levels!

Controls:

• Move:   WASD / Arrow keys
• Ability: Spacebar/LMB/C

Looper abilities:

Block:

- Hold the ability button to turn into a block. The block can block objects, making it safe for the next loopers

Teleporter:

- Place a node to teleport to when you activate the ability button a second time. All future loopers in the area teleport with the teleporter. Future loopers can also step on the node to teleport to the teleporter

Speed:

- Get a speed boost. All future loopers in the area also get a speed boost.

Current known bugs:

• Lag spike on first spawn and death
• Win screen shows 1 to many loopers
• Level 1 is harder than its supposed to be (can still be beat,  but needs you to be block at the end ) 
• If a teleporter looper places a node and dies, the node spawned in the following loops will be inconsistent
